REPATRIATION OF NEW ZEALANDERS.

REDUCED FARES FOR SOLDIERS' WIVES.

(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association)

London, Jan. l

The repatriation of New Zealanders is proceeding steadily, although, like the other forces, the actual demobilisation does: not begin until peace is ratified. Of the lower category of men, 5700 left for New Zealand during December on board the Maunganui, Marama, Tahiti, Briton, and Oxfordshire.

Passages for soldiers' wives have been reduced to 140s. Two hundred will leave on board the Ruapehu next week with 300 soldiers.
