During its annual conference the national executive of the* Freezers' Union, representing all men in the freezing and allied trades from Whangnroi to Bluff, passed the' following motion:—"Thai^ ■in the opinion of the national executive, workers should not be sent into camp and their places taken by Australians : and that this executive is confident that, in view of the limited spare available, there are ample men available to carry on the work withoiifc bringing men from Australia."
