The news from the Woevre front is -excellent. The Americans have gone beyond Villers Sosreany, and have reached Vandie-rs, 2\ kilometres1 from a frontier station. East and north-east of Jaulny the "Americans, following the valley of the Kurupt-de-Mad, carried a series' of strongly fortified positions in the direction of Gorze and Ghamblay.
