Sydney, July 15. Mr Sedgebeer, referring to trie Mayor of .Auckland's remarks regarding the treatment of Wimmera survivors, explains that he in no way referred to the committee, whom the Mayor apparently confuses with: the officials.
He also produced a letter to show that the committee had been reimbursed for any expenditure made in !&uelcland on his behalf.
