WHITE LEAD AND LINSEED OIL.

.Wellington, Jan. 31. The Director of Munitions in Melbourne some montbs ago prohibited the exportation of white lead. The Hon. A. M. Myers stated yesterday that he had received a communicatipr intimating that, because of certain new arrangements which had been made, it ■ would not now- be necessary for firms ordering linseed oil and white lead from Australia to apply for priority permits.
