Mr D. Baker, Secretary for War, states that the Government's plans for sending a largo army to France are undergoing constant development. He would not discuss the number of men in France, but said, "We have made substantial progress!"

Sir McAdoo, Secretary of the Treasury, says that the Government faces the necessity of raising 10,000,000,000 dollars before June.
