(Received Dec. 16, 5.5 p.m.) London, Dec. 14. An Italian official report says: • Our resistance compelled the enemy to suspend an infantry attack at the Col Caprile and Col della Beretta. Our aeroplanes shelled concentrated troops. The enemy launched dense masses in an encircling movement against a salient at Monte Solarolo. Our infantry, i aided by Italian and French batteries, | repulsed the enemy, yielding only ai I short section of ground after inflicting immense losses.
