Details of the sinking of the Wien slow that two torpedo boats cut eight cables protecting the entrance to Trieste harbour, and removed the mines. They found the Wien unprotected by nets. The Austrian searchlights failed to pick tip the torpedo boats, which launched torpedoes against the Wien and another battled: ip.
