NEW YEAR CENTRE TOURNAMENT.
The fourth annual tournament will take place on the Nelson and <Maitai bowling greens at the New Year iSn.tries will finally close ton Jay. The local clubs will be strongly represented. Motueka will have three' full rinks and several pairs, whilst Takaka has entered two full rinks and four pairs. Riversdale will not be represented, owing to the depletion of its ranks by members going to the -war. Wakeiiekl will have
several rinks, and the Blenheim Glut) is expected to be well represented. The full rinks will play on New Year's Day and the pairs on tiie aay following.
