The following are last week's results on the Maitai green:— Champion Rinks: Alien beat Calder, Hockey beat Brundeil, Milner beat Simpson, Doe beat 'Sherwood, v Glover beat Frost.
Wednesday. Pairs (handicap): Thorn 20 beat G. Dee 19.
Champion Pairs: Hockey beat T\.arsten, Thorn, Brundell, and T. Dee; Thorn beat \Y. Dee; Milner beat Calder, Levy beat Milner ; Whiting'beat T. Dee ; W. Dee 'beat Frost;
Junior Championship: Vitetta boat Ay don and Treacher; Fowler beat Treacher, Aydon, and Vitetta. On Wednesday next the first local match for the District Rink competition will be played on the Nelson green, between Maitai and Nelson.
•For the Centre tournament to be held at the New Year, eight rinks and twelve pairs have entered from the Maitai Club.
