STATEMENT BY SIR ERIC GEDDES.

Speaking in the House of Commons, Sir Eric Geddes, v First Lord of the Admiralty, stated that Admiral Sir David Beatty would order a court-martial' on ! the loss of the neutral convoy as soon; as the survivors were fit to "attend. ! The naval inquiry mentioned yesterday < would also be held immediately. It would deal with the general question of convoying, which tho Admiralty^ was now reviewing owing to the loss of the convoy. i
