The Union win the champion shield after playing off \vith Old Navals, also 10 individual trophies. Brassington wins highest hand in season (Mr. Lock's trophy), after play off with Lockwood. Hand ieid, 28: Old Navals win most matches in second and 'third rounds, witt>B wins (Mr. Kerr's trophy). Old NavaLs win Mr. Lulham's trophy for second, in tournament.

Drivers win Mr. Alf. Robinson's trophy after play off with the Port. The president's trophy, highest indiviudal score: T. Johnson (Old Nelson Rifles), G. Ricketts arid McNabb (Port), Krahagen and Patterson (Old Navals)'tie with 41 wins each.

Most 24's in first round: McKay and Stephens (Union), T. Hughes (Carpenters), J. Calder (pid Navals), E. Edwards (Drivers) tie with two each.

August 24th. ' On Wednesday evening this association celebrated the close of its season by the presentation of prizes and a euchre tournament at the Masonic Social Hall.
