A German official report says: — "French attacks failed against tie heights between. Hurtebise and Craonne. Attacks from Vauxaillon and Conbeny failed except west of Craonne. The enemy on Monday lost twenty aeroplanes. They lost in April 362, and we lost 74. Our air forces are fighting at the zenith of their capacity."
