FIGHTING AT BULLECOURT.

GERMAN ATTACKS REPULSED

(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association)

London, May 8. A correspondent says the fighting for Bullecourt continues.

The Germans attempted to retake a portion of the Hindenburg line on lie south-west border of the village after entering that quarter of Bullecourt, but failed.

The Germans attacked last night north-eastward of Fresnoy. Despite their numbers they only succeeded in gaining a little ground.
