PEACE OF THE FAR EAST.
j London, April 20. The Japanese Ambassador to London and the Japanese delegates, who are on their \*ay to attend the Allied commercial conference at Rome, were guests at a luncheon at the House of Commons to-day.' The Ambassador, the Marquess Inouye, dwelt on the possibility of a. war of commerce after the war. He said it was high time that the allies took steps to protect themselves against such an eventuality. The Anglo-Japanese alliance was as strong as ever. It was Japan's mission to maintain peace and preserve order in tho Far East. He congratulated Great Britain on her victories on the western front, which were the herald of greater things to come.
