A French communique reports violent artillery fire at night south of St. Quentin.

We again made progress between the Aisiie and the Chemins-des-Dames, north of Sancy and Jouy.

Grenade fighting occurred in the re-

gion of Hurtebise. Skirmishes and grenade fighting have taken place west of Navarin.

German aeroplanes last evening bombed the region of Dunkirk. Three persons were injured.
