Wellington, I>ee. 22. 1 Messrs Burhidge and Sou report at. follows on the Wellington fruit and produce market:— We hay& a.good demand for all kinds of fruit, especially dessert/ ' Apricots, peaches, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, dark plums, tomatoes, and-eggs all realise excellent, prices. Current prices:— 'Apricots: 8s to 11s. Peaches 6s to 10s Gd. Cherries-: 10s to 15s. Plums: Dark os Gd io Bs, cheirv plums coloured 4s 6d, green- 3s 6d. • Tomatoes: Coloured 16s to 20s, green' lls to 14s per half-case. ■ I Strawberries Is 6d to 2s per punnet. I Egg's Is 7d per dozen. Green peas Is to Is 6d per peck. Potatoes 12s to 15e per cwt.
