Thirty-eight- fish in ninety .minutes' angling is the record up' to date in canal fishing, which is so popular among the troops in France. In the Supreme Court at Dunedin on Thursday William Thomas Burridge who pleaded guilty in the lower Court to breaking and entering, and theft of a bicycle, came up for sentence. He was sentenced to three years' imprisonment and declared an habitual, cnmmal on the first charge, and ,to one year on the second charge, the sentences to be cumulative.
