STOKE FRUITGROWERS' ASSOCIATION.

The annual meeting of the Stoke Fruitgrowers' Association was held last night. There was a fair attendance of members, and Mr F. J. Hall (president) occupied the chair. The report and balance-sheet for the twelve months ended July 31st., 1916, was placed before the meeting, and was adopted. After this the election of officers for the ensuing year took place, and resulted as follows :—President, Mr A. \ . i AllpQifc: vice-president Mr J. Biggar ; secretary, Mi- W. M. Bolt; committee, Messrs E. B. Izard, H. Pickup, F. J. Hall, and R. Black.
