The overseas Parliamentary delegates visited Glasgow, where the Lord Provost welcomed them.. They visited

the Clyde shipyards and munition factories, the members of the Corporation and the Clyde Trust accompanying

them

Sir Thomas Mackenzie visited New Zealand wounded in hospital in the northern counties. He also visited some of the biggest munition works, and conferred with the wool spinners, manufacturers and bickers. He attended a concert at Huddersiield which resulted in £1000 being raised for St. Bunstan's Blind Hospital.
