THE Ell'S PRIZE MONEY

The Prize Court awarded £3500 to i Commander Holbrook and the crew of submarine Ell for sinking the warship Messudiyeh after diving under Turkishmines. In the House of Commons, Mr Harcourt stated that the value of enemy property vested in the Public Trustee was £4,500,000, and that of property vested in the Board of Trade £2,000,----000. In the House of Commons the Home' Secretary announced the introduction ■of a Bill to control war charities.
