PADDY'S MARKET
• T|ie attendance at Paddy's Market on Saturday was not seriously affected by the wet' weather, and in the afternoon and evening the Drill Hall was crowded. All the stalls were replenished with supplies, and excellent business, was done. In the afternoon Vitetta Brothers' orchestra played' selections, and in the evening a full programme was presented by the Silver Builet Pierrots.
Country visitors to the market on Saturday had to be conveyed to the railway station in motor cars, owing to the flooded state of the streets. The Guards' stall on Saturday was in charge of Mesdames F. PooTe, W. Lewis and F. Rutherford, Miss Fairey, and Messrs Fairey and Poole.
'lhe Market will be open to-day, and wi'l be brought to a close this evening, when aIL unsold articles will he auctioned by Mr W. Lock. Admission will be free this evening.
At zt'ie efficiai farewell to the Nineteenth Reinforcement draft at "baddy's Ma'-ket to-night, Mr J. S. Evans will be the speaker. The management of the Market particularly rec,iu~st that &11 business be suspended, and that silence be observed during the address, *vhich will be short.
