TRANSPORT OF FRUIT.

i Sir,—l have no interest whatever in ; fruitgrowing,- but the correspondence in your paper provokes comment upon jthe situation. There is one aspect of ; the affair I should like to see discussed, [i.e., the transport of the apple output, llf. Nelson is going to produce from .2,000,000 to 5*000,000 cases of apples in !a season, are any arrangements being jiriade to transport that quantity of j fruit p At the former figure the crop •works out at over 35,700 tons of fruit, | not inclusive of cases. Will eases be : procurable? ■ - I am, etc., A STRANGER.
