WOOD BOMBARDIERS.
At a meeting of the Wood Bombardiers' Committee last evening it was ckcided to proceed with the plain and fancy dress masked dance to bo held on Wednesday, the 12th inst., in the Provincial. Hall. The Social Committee have made the following arrangements :—Prizes will be given '_ for the xrost original dress for ladies and gentlemen. All dancers must be masked until-10 p.m.. and judging will take place- before; that hour.- The prices of admission-—ladies Is and gentlemen 2s —should ensure a largo attendance. The gallery will be open for ion-dancers (admission Is).
The following donations for disposal for the benefit of the fund have been received: —Mr W. Moves, silver tablecentre, valued at £4 10s; Mr J. E>. Clear, suit to measure; Messrs McKay and. Son ; handsome carpet square; Messrs J. Wood and Sons, Ltd.,.tea set.
■A committee meeting will bo held tomorrow for the consideration of important burliness. Essie Stewart has been very successful in soiling flowers on behalf of the fund, her sales realising 25s on Saturday, June 24th, and 12s last Saturday.
