t ~ , June, 19. in the annual report presented at the meeting of the Nelson College Old Boys Association on Saturday evening it was stated that as far as could be ascertained about 400 old boys were serving in-some capacity or ether in the Imperial Army. Of these a great many held commissions, and it should be a source of pride to all old collegians to know that two of their number had attained the rank of brigadier -general Sl?'» T> Gkseo* and E. W. Chaytor. Ihe following had been'awarded military honours:— Brigadier-General E. W. Chaytor, created a Companion of the Bath ; mentioned in despatches. Brigadier-General W. T. Glasgow, mentioned m despatches. Colonel R. A. Young, D.S.O. • mentioned m despatches.
