MESSAGES FROM MR HUGHES.
Received "April 25,7.30 p.m.) | London, April 24. ! Mr Hughes sent a special Anzac Day message to Australia, paying a tribute to the heroic dead. He also | sent one to Cairo to be read at the memorial service, in which he says:— "Their deaths arid deeds will be sung in the sagas to generations of Australians to the end of time."
