PERSONAL.
The Governor, with Lady Liverpool and staff, arrived in Auckland last Thursday. They have taken up'their residonce for a fortnight in Government House. His Excellency . was to be present at the Anzac Day celebrations in the Town Hall, Auckland, yesterday, and attend the soldiers' dinner and the concert in the evening.
A. very pretty wedding took piace at the residence of the late Mrs O. Jordan, Foxhill, on Monday, March 27th, the Rev. J. R. Dart being the officiating minister, when Edward Hamilton, second son of the late Mr G. H. Trower, of Longford, formerly of Owen Junction, was married to Elsie Emmio, second daughter of the late Mrs C. Jordan, of Foxhill.. The bride Wore a very pretty cream dress, and was attended by her sister, Miss Florence Jordan, who .-wore a very nice white dress. The bridegroom . was attended by the bride's brother, Mr C Jordan, as foe-st man. The' bridegroom's present to the bride was a silver watch and chain, and- to the bridesmaid a gold-mounted greenstone brooch.
