The "Daily Chronicle" says that Mr Lioyd George does not waver m his conviction that general compulsion is necessary. A rumour was currcm on Sunday evening that he may resign if he disapproves of to-day's Cabinet decision. In .any event the Cabinet meeting may have momentous consequences.
