BRITISH TROOPS AND THE GALLIPOLI LANDINGS.

Londsm, April 17, •A....survivor of the 29th Division writes to "The Times" as follows:— '•'The great landing at Gallipoli semis now to be entirely claimed for the Anzacs. One never reads a japer without -seeing, something in praise of the Anzacs, ■• and quite rightly, but what of the British, whose casualties were three-fold? The landing 'vfuld have been impossible except lor the 29th, the East Lancashire Division and the Naval Division. A service <s being held in mejnory of the Anza-js but .surely the King desires to honour the heroes of Morto Boy and V Jioar-h."
