RAID ON CONSTANTINOPLE.

London, April 16

The Press Bureau states that three naval aeroplanes on Friday evening raided Constantinople. One dropped bombs on the Zeitonlik powder factory and* aeroplane hangars. Another bombed the railway station at Adrianople. Squadron - Commander • Smyth-Piggot I and Flight-Lieutenants Savory,. Dickinson, and Barhato participated. All returned safely. The flight to Constantinople and back was ovev 300 miles. There was fine weather at the start, bub adverse conditions supervened, witU rain, wind and thunderstorms. Amsterdam, April 16,. A Turkish communique says that two aeroplanes ascending at the Dardanelles on Friday night flew over Constantinople at a considerable height, and dropped incendiary bombs in two villages without doing any damage. Our guns drove them off.
