LONDON WOOL SALES.

Messrs E. Buxton and Co., Ltd., report having received further advice per cable from their London agents (Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and Co.), with -reference to tho present .scries of London sales as under:- —"Merino wool advanced 0 per cent. Sheepskins, Merino advanced farthing erossbreds- unchanged." I ' '

B-ilgety and Co., Ltd, Wellington, ■have received the following cablegram from-, their Lciidou. housir.under dato the 11th lnst:-—''The third' -series 'of sales have- opened. The selection was mostly cro.ssbrods.-; There was a good attendance ef buyers and competition was animated. As compared with closing rates of last sales erossbreds were from par to id per lb lower, slipes wevu rather dearer, and Merinos were very firm to slightly clearer. The dates of our own sales are: April 12th, • April i«th, May 6th." . . . ' The' New Zealand Loan and* Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have receii-ed the following cablegram from their London house-under .date the 11th inst.: —"The wool sale opened 11th instant. There was good competition fori crossbred, but very little change in! Merino, for which prices ruled in favour of sellers."

Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., hrj.ve received the following cable from their London :ag?.nts:—"The wool sales have opened. Good attendance of 'buyers. Merinos are par to 5 per cent, dearer than closing rates oi" last, .sorios. Slipes and ciossbreds generally are practically unchanged.''
