ODDFELLOWSHIP.

(From "Th© Colonist," Oct. 14.) The thirty-third anniversary of the iWakatu Juvenile Lodge of ..Oddfellows ;w.as relebtated at +he lodgo 4'oom on Tuesday evening, when the' Superintendent presided. The balance-sheet showed the lodge to be in a sound position, both financially and numerically, iihe funds amounting to nearly £90, and there being a membership ot 70. During the evening P.P.G.M.'s Bros. Ttmnicliffo and Hagen paid a visit, accompanied by a number <F members or thn Wakefieid Juvftnile Lodge, and received a hearty welcome. Daring.the evening a recitation competition^ was held, and after a keenM»ntest. the indge, P.P.G.M. Bro. A. Day awarded 'E? s pri«*.aß follow:-W, Prebble 1, &, Boyes 2, B. McArtney 3, A. Bades 4. Items wore also given by .-Bros, iv. Sack, A. Day, and W. H. Robertei>n. -The D.P.G.M., Bro. W. Liddle, paid an -tofficial visit, accompanied by a_ nunnber :of adult members from'both the-JNei--son and Howard Lodges.. Bro-.Lidge presented the prices, also the lodge Srize and the District gold medal to Bro F. 'Robb for introducing the mos^ members during the yea. The members and visitors then adjourned -to the suirper room, aftor wlticli a ■ heaity vote of thanks was passed ■to tne jD.P-G-M. and visiting brethren.
