CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH.
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
(From "The Colonist," Aug. 25.)
Last night the annual tea meeting in connection with the Congregational Church took place, followed by an interesting arid inspiring meeting at which addresses were delivered by the Revs. J. H. MacKenzie, and J. Reed Glasson, and the pastor, the Rev. T. G. Butler. An optimistic annual report was submitted by the secretary, Mr. F. I. Ledger, showing several encouraging features. "Abide with me" wa,s feelingly rendered by Miss E. Rowe, and Mr. J. Shaorman sang with great acwptauco "A Dream of Paradise" and Faber's "Pilgrim» of the Night."
