EXAMINATION RESULTS

IN WELLINGTON UNION.

__ The results of the annual examination of scholars in schools connected with the Wellington Sunday School Union are now available. Tho . xaminers were Mesdames T. H. Gill and A. 11. Atkinson, Misses Helyer and \V V Thompson, and Mr T. H. Gil!, M.A., L 1..8.

Those gaining 75 marks and over win prizes and first-class certificat s; those, gaining 60 marks and under 75 receive second-class certificates: and 40 imirk-j and under 60 gain a third-class certificate.

Of the 5-15 scholars examined, 79? gained prizes, and 308 gained certiorates. Only 40 failed to obtain the 40 per cent, of marks necessary to secure pass. The results for Nelson schools, examined are as follows:—
