A display of the Aurora Australia turned many eyes to th*e scArthern sky last night. "At times it was extremelyfine, and at about 10 o.',elock the shifting shafts of golden and rosy light were of marked brilliance/ ■Tho instruments at the Electric lelegraph Office were.adversely affected between, 7 and 11 p.m. by "the aurora. Thor<>. was a distinct loss of magnetism, and ,york was done with difficulty.
