LIVE STOCK SALES.
Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report having helcl their monthly sales at Tapawera and Murchison on July '2nd and 9th respectively. Fair yardings came forward at both centres, and, owing to the freezing works being, open, there was a ready sale for all stock. Tapawera: Six fat wethers 20s 6d, 50 fat wethers 21s, 27 fat wothors 225, 65 store wethers 17s 6d, 39 fat ewes 17s, 10 fat ewes 17s Id, 7 fat owes 21s 6d, 28 forward owes 14s sd. Murchison: Eighty-six fat wethers 91s 4d, 70 fat wethers 245, 41 hat •wethers 255, 90 fat wethers 26s 4d, 150 fat ewes ]9s Gd, 54 fat ewes 235, 2 fat heifers £o 38s 6d, 2 fat heifer^ £6 15s, 4 fat heifers £6 18s, o fat cows £7, 3 fat cows £7 4s, 1 steer £7 ss, 1 springing heifer £5.
