STATE MUNITIONS COMMITTEES.
Melbourne, July 20
At Mr. Fisher's request, a State subcommittee will supervise munitions work. The Victoria Committee appointed consists of Messrs. MacKinnon, Ilagelthorne, and Baillieu.
Mr. Fisher has announced that €hn Civil Service examinations will be suspended, and no permanent appointments made until after the war, in fairness to the Civil Service volunteers.
