HEAVY ORDERS FROM CANADA

The leading munitions companies have formed a new corporation styled the American Ammunition Company for the purpose of handling largo contracts for the supply of fuses and high explosives and shrapnel shells for the Allies.

It is reported that a contract totalling £14,500,000 for the supply of shells has been placed by the Canadian Militia Department in the hands of a financial group, which will arrange the sub-con-tracting.
