TEMPORARY SETTLEMENT
PATCHED UP.

A hundred thousand hands are involved in the Krupp strike. The directors hayo granted a portion cf the men's demands, and patched up a temporary peace, but the workers are still unsatisfied. There have been_ several minor cases of sabotage, and the military are taking precautions to protect the works.
j German bankers complain that the ' people are hoarding fifty millions steii!ing in gold, and are appealing to pat--1 riots to bring their gold to the Reichsibank.
