From Crown Lands Ranger, reporting on section 6, block xii, Motuoka, that substitute allowed by Board on April loth had not yet taken. up residence, and that the section had been subdivided and partss sold.—Lessee's attention to be called to the conditions of the lease. Messrs. R. and H. Avery wrote stating that they had both enlisted, and asking the Board to transfer their interest in section 9, block i, Oparara, to Joseph Elford, of Karamea.—Approved, forms to be submitted. From J. YeniSj who applied for 635 acres in block xiiij, Matakitaki survey district, stating that he now wished to withdraw his application owing to its inaccessibility.—Application I?-sed.

From the Under-Secretary for Lands regarding Jand taken for road deviation at Rccklands, asking that valuer of land taken bo ascertained, and also value of island in Ruller river opposite Mr. George Walker's section.- —Left ih the hands of the Commissioner to deal with.

From - Magdalene Hunter, Toi Flat, asking to have a reserve made for timber at Wheeler's creek, Horse Terrace, for mining purposes. —Adjourned for report. , , From Messrs Pitt and Moore, asking for Board's consent lio sub-lease from Frank Rochfort to W.
