'The local office of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company, states that by despatching the Kia Ora from the Dominion on June 30th the number .or the company's sailings for Home since January of tliis year will have been brought up to 18,.as compared with 19 ■steamers despatched from New Zealand by the company during the correspoudiii.v period of last year. The odd steamer*'was represented by the lokomarii, «unk oft" Havre on Januarj 31st last.
