Wellington, June 14. , Tho Qovcrnor has received a communication from tlio Secretary of State for the Colonies with regard to the Dominion's contributions to tho forces.at tho front. The following summary of the communication has been supplied for publication:—"While His Majesty's Government fully appreciate the desire of the people of New Zealand to provide all tho assistance in their power, they are of opinion that at the present juncture, as no' arms and equipment can bo sent to New Zealand from the United. Kingdom at tho present time, it would not be desirable to depart in anj way from the curriculum or trainintr and numbers arranged between them and the New Zealand Government for the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces'."
