PATRIOTIC ENTERTAINMENT.
To-morrow evening an entertainment will be given at the Eiiipiro Theatre in aid of the Nelson Sick and Wounded Soldiers and their Dependents Fund. A splendid programme lias been arranged, comprising some iOQOfV oi: topical subjects, mostly everts connected with" the great war; speeches by the Mayor, Mr T. A. H. Field, M.P., Bishop Sadlier. and Rev. Father Finiierty, and a srand descriptive fantasia, "A Soldier's Life." by the Band of the 12 th Regiment. This selection, which occupies twenty minutes in playing, deals with events-ma soldier's lifo from the time of his departure for the front until his return, and introduces many well-known" and patriotic airs. During tho evening the words of the national anthems of the Allies will bo thrown on tho screen. Tho sirigmp of them will be led by a choir and Mia audience- are asked to join in the singing.
