Tin's i>s tho story of a- young girl employed in the international seerot service. She becomes a governess in tho horn© of General Stefanovitch, deputy governor of the fortress of Kronstadt. Her name is Marion West, and .she obtains drawings which are of use to .the secret service whik> out ya-ehting with Paul 1 Zassulie. a young staff ofiicer. - He ■proiwses, and Marion accepts him, although sh-■ still continues -to work against his country. At last she is discovered securing a plan of a fortress, and is only saved by her lover's presence of mind. After many adventures they reach England, and Marion renounces her former ways, after being freely forgiven by Paul whon-".ho- finds that it was to keep a iittlo invalid brother that the girl ha:! risked Iffq and honour. The supporting programme is a very interesting one, including a "Wireless from the War" cartoon, a Vitacrapli comedy, a ilne Kalem drama, the latest Keystone, featuring Mabel .Normand, and the latest number of the Gaumont Graphic.
