GRAND PATRIOTIC ENTERTAINMENT.

A grand patriotic entertainment in aid or the Sick and Wounded Soldiers'. Fund will be given in the Empire Theatre on Tuesday evening next. For the occasion Mr. Saunders (who is giving the gross proceeds to the fund) has secured some 4000 feet of war and topical subjects, and in addition speeches will be delivered by the Mayor (Mr C. J Hurley), Mr T. A. H. Field, M.P., Bishop Sadlier, and Father Finnerty, while the band of tlie 12th Regiment will play the grand descriptive fantasia "A Soklier'ss Life." Popular prices of 2s and Is will be charged for admission, but fifty seats in the dress circle have been set aside, and these will be sold by public auction in Trafalgar street this evening by Mr. A. Gould. The box plan is now open a*- the Empire Theatre.
