Mr. Bruce Ismay, of the White Star Line, Mr. Carter, a director of the Cammell and Laird Line, Mr. Wortly, a director of the All Red Holm Company, and Mr. Given, of Flannery and Given, are members of the Munitions Committee at Liverpool.. They have been, appointed trustees for the Government in the-Liverpool .district, as Mr. Lloyd George is anxious to promote decentralisation, and does not desire everything to be referred to Whitehall for settlement.
