Ttmaru, June 10. M. Husband, aged 23, son of a Claremont farmer, was killed when riding in the heavy-weight class at the huntclub's point to point steeplechase to day. His horse somersaulted over a, fence, throwing its rider, who fell heavily on his liead, fracturing the base of the skull. , ■ Dunedin, June 10. j The dead body of Alexander Conbrcugh, who escaped from the SeaclifF Mental Hospital some time ago, was found in the bush yesterday. New Plymouth, June 10. At tho agricultural show to-day a man named George Williams, of Ingle-woc-d, 57 years of age, suddenly collapsed. He expired while being taken to a doctor.
