Prisoners state that the Austrian losses were very great. King Victor Emannel visited all tho 'advanced tiouches between Stclvio and the Adriatic, immensely stimulating tho troops' enthusiasm. He accompanied the First Brigade when'it crossed the Isonzo on a pontoon thrown up by the engineers.
