PLUNKET SOCIETY.
A special meeting of tho Phmket Society Committee was hold yesterday afternoon, for the purpose of appointing a successor to Nurse Morgan, who is leavin"' Nelson almost immediately, at the request of Dr. Truby King, to take charcce of the Karitane Hospital, Dunedin ,in place' of Nurse Campbell, who is taivins for tlw> war. Nurse Morgan has endeared herself to a large number of friends during her two years residence in Nelson, and. will be greatly missed. A resolution of appreciation and roijret was proposed by Miss Atkinson; and seconded by Mrs bnodgrass, and carried unanimously. « ivas ie-, solved that Nurse Vms should bo appointed to take Nurse, Morgan's place in Nelson, and that Nurse Honoyhold be rcappointed as assistant.
