REPORTS FROM THE WEST.
London, June 1, 2.40 a.m. North of Arras the Allies made further progress. On the road from Souchez to Carency they seized a mill and German trenches extending thence to a refinery, taking 50 prisoners. In the region of the labyrinth the enemy's counter-attacks were repulsed on Sunday night and the position captured by the Allies was organised on Monday. The enemy bombarded our front, but made no infantry attacks.
